The theme of this contest is "Fashion Beijing", focusing on "Fashion Beijing" and "Beijing Fashion Week" series of activities. The awards are divided into three categories: photography documentary, photography art, and mobile photography. The "Fashion Beijing" Photography Contest focuses on but is not limited to the fashion and cultural activities of Beijing Fashion Week. There is an extensive coverage regarding the content, theme, and style of the works collected in the contest, and participants are encouraged to discover the beauty of Beijing, use the camera to record a fashionable and artistic Beijing, and show the unique fashion charm of Beijing.

On September 16, 2018, during Beijing Fashion Week, the "Grand Model Ceremony" and the Global Awards Ceremony of the 2018 "Chinese Children" Model Contest co-organized by Beijing Fashion Week and Bebe magazine kicks off. The theme of this grand ceremony is "Fashion & Art", which gathers many leading companies and institutions in various fields of the children's industry, outstanding leaders who have made outstanding contributions to children aesthetics education, and guests and celebrities from various fields such as fashion, art, education, etc., as well as children stars.  With three top three international brand products releases, the "Beautiful Angel” annual awarding, and the inauguration of "Finding Beautiful Quality Education Partners", it opens an unprecedented cross-border fashion festival for children.

Under the guidance of the China National Garment Association, the National Women’s Hand Knitting Association, and Beijing Fashion Holdings Co., Ltd., this competition is hosted by Beijing Snow Lotus Group Co., Ltd., Beijing Fashion Week Co., Ltd., and China Textile Publishing House, and organized by China Fashion magazine. The theme of the competition is "Weaving of Cashmere", and with the goal of presenting innovation through hand-knitted works, it explores the development direction of cashmere fashion, and takes Snow Lotus Group as the platform to create requirements for fashion technology to serve new textile development.
